A Spiritual Practice of Wholeness

We have now entered into a more advanced practice. In entering upon a more advanced practice, it is a concentration practice. It is a purification practice. It is a transformation practice. It is a practice of Wholeness. A practice of Wholeness that will change your life.
Because stuff that used to be stuck in a pattern is moving now.
It is so elegant, and it is a simple expression of Wholeness. Max Wertheimer, who was the father of Gestalt psychology, in a classic experiment found that people over time would remember an image of a gapped circle in other words a circle that wasn’t complete, that had a gap. They would remember the image of that gap being smaller and smaller and smaller until eventually, they wouldn’t remember that there was a gap in the circle at all. There have been hypotheses as to why that is, and one of the hypotheses is that the circle has within it psycho-physical qualities that cause the memory of it to become Whole.
Even if our original interaction with it was different. over time we actually are yearning for or reaching towards completion. We are reaching towards Wholeness. And that’s one of the yearning flames of the soul, is completion. It’s like when we were talking in the Everyday Sanyasin about Divine Heritage. I’m telling you it’s there. All you have to do is know that it’s there, have some kind of knowledge about that, and a yearning to go there.
This is not a defined completion. This is not a completion in which we stop. This is a completion that opens the flow all the way. It’s a completing process. That’s why, as we become strong in our ability to do the circle meditation, that then, we can begin to embrace an image that’s based upon that circlethe circle of flame, that begins to have a sense of I, a sense of identity, expressing in the circle as part of the Wholeness of the circle.
So this is actually the next evolution of the practice It’s very important that you have a sense of continuity, that you have a sense of Wholeness. Even as you’re doing it, you have a sense of Wholeness. And I will add this little bit: if you start going into chaos within yourself or your life starts going into chaos, go back to the circle.
You may find that going back to the circle gives you even greater strength to argue because they did something that wasn’t right to you. It’s not as much that, but if in your experience of your life, if the circumstances of your life start getting a little too chaotic, then stop working with Shiva, and go back to the circle.
