Underground Hypnosis carries a somewhat stormy reputation, but as with similar conversational hypnosis programs it can be a source of real help. Often employed to help treat physical, emotional, and mental complaints in addition to an effective communication strategy, this type of “mind control” affects an individual’s subconscious to make them do what you desire. And so you see its uses can vary between the comedic effects broadcast on television or at frat festivals and powerful treatment for nicotine addiction. When employed by seasoned practitioners, there’s almost no risk.
Black ops hypnosis resembling the approach passed on through Underground Hypnosis boils down to putting the subject in a a trance state. The depth to which the person enters trance will be influenced by aspects like their personality, emotional status, and hypnotist’s ability. At the earliest level, their minor muscles begin to untense following an unconscious decision. An urge to fall asleep seems to come as a result of this, and further muscles untensing may cause their eyes to gradually droop shut. As the hypnotist deepens the trance state, this lack of tension spreads little by little to the shoulders and hands. This usually takes mere moments. Picture only being able to perceive one person. A skilled hypnotist can take you to this state by taking you into a deep enough trance. Following this, the subject will feel the power of suggestion. Going further you’ll find you can suppress recall of given situations - or to prevent physical sensation.
You may draw your subject into an even deeper trance, slowly introducing them to a hallucinatory level before reaching a level similar to that which the mind enters under general anesthetic. When anesthesia seems, for various reason, too risky, hypnosis has occasionally been introduced as an alternative.
Of course, you won’t require that depth, and conversational hypnosis remains in the more effective strata. For most purposes, the initial strata we covered are all you need.
